| DIVERSE BLUEGRASS BAND WITH A TWIST!! |
|
Jan 27-31 (On Cruise B) RHYME'n'REASON The group consisting
of veteran Bluegrassers Stefan Van Holten, Doug Moerschfelder and Bill Koop, later joined by self proclaimed “red neck”
bluegrass bassist Joe Rohrer. A Multi award winning band including gospel and vocal awards, and numerous nominations since
forming in 2008. Rich close harmony, great dynamics, exciting instrumentals, humour and novelty songs are the hallmark of
this versatile group, and have made them very popular, but because the guys believe their music should portray the priorities
set by the "father of bluegrass" Bill Monroe, and also reflect their own lifestyles, a sizable portion of their
repertoire consists of gospel songs. Close attention to detail and a good sense of appropriateness
combined with a natural spontaneity helps them to adapt to any venue from a bluegrass festival to a Sunday morning church
service.
